Additional info/contents	On the occasion of the birthday of the English Queen Anne in 1713, Georg Friedrich Handel wrote one of his first English-language compositions, "Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne", HWV 74, a large courtly ode with soloists, choir and orchestra. In the opening aria "Eternal Source of Light Divine", the sun is sung about: it should give the queen a wonderful birthday with its light, warmth and sunbeams. The accompanying voices create a solid foundation of long-held chords, over which the alto voice and trumpet enter into a brilliant dialogue. The duet can be played with the following instruments: - E-flat cornet and B-flat cornet - Two piccolo trumpets in A or B
