Additional info/contents	"D'un Matin de Printemps" ("On a Spring Morning") is one of the best-known compositions by the French composer Lili Boulanger (1893–1918). The work was composed in the last months of her life, 1917/18, and forms an optimistic counterpart to her somber "D'un Soir Triste." Despite her serious illness, Boulanger created a vibrant, impressionistic composition that captivates with its transparent instrumentation and a bright, almost playful sound. François Branciard arranged the piece for wind orchestra, making it accessible to brass bands as well. This arrangement emphasizes the work's radiant quality and allows for a new dimension of interpretation. "D'un Matin de Printemps" is considered a musical gem and a symbol of Boulanger's unfinished but brilliant oeuvre.
