Additional info/contents	Die Kantate entstammt dem 1744 gedruckten Jahrgang „Musicalisches Lob Gottes in der Gemeine des Herrn“, dem auch die „Biblischen Sprüche“ (s. S. 12) entnommen sind. Wie für die Chöre, so lässt Telemann auch für die Arien grösstmögliche Freiheit der Besetzung, sei es hinsichtlich der Oktavlage der Singstimmen, sei es im Blick auf die zusätzliche Verwendung von Bläsern in den Streicherpartien. – In ihrer auf den Leidensweg Jesu gerichteten Textaussage ist die Kantate für die gesamte Vorfasten- und Passionszeit geeignet.
