Additional info/contents	Lachrymae is considered to be the most intense in a series of provocative works by the composer. It is 'a requiem for victims of 'righteous' political violence”. Because of the deeply personal response to what seems to be an expanding global issue, Mr. Goto has limited his dedication to that of a general protest against violence upon the innocent. The piece is scored for an intimate wind ensemble, and ideally would be performed as such.
