Das für „Corno pastoriccio“ geschriebene Konzert kann sowohl auf dem Horn, dem Alphorn oder irgendwelchem Naturinstrument geblasen werden, welches die klingenden Töne d, g, h, d spielen kann. Die Orchesterfassung ist bereits seit 1979 bei Edition Kunzelmann in einer Ausgabe von Kurt Janetzky erhältlich, nun liegt von diesem Werk erstmals eine Fassung für Alphorn und Klavier vor. The concerto was written for „Corno pastoriccio“ and may be played on a horn, an alphorn or on whatever natural instrument that may sound the notes d, g, b, d (concert pitch). The orchestral version was published at Edition Kunzelmann back in 1979 by Kurt Janetzky, now for the first time a version for alphorn and piano is available.
