The special sound and unmistakable style of New Bohemian Brass Band Music has long since become an unmistakable trademark. Whether polka, marching music or even waltzes, the New Bohemian Brass Band presents brass music of the highest quality! Roland Kohler, the leader and the heart of the New Bohemian Brass Band, founded the formation while he was still a student at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, where he majored in clarinet. He succeeded in making the NBB one of the most internationally successful wind orchestras after only a short time. This success has also been contributed to by the titles that originate from his pen, such as the waltzes "Schöne Stunden" and "Walzer der Liebe" as well as the polkas "Immer wieder Blasmusik", "Mit Herz und Schwung", "Blasmusik zu jeder Stund'", "Blasmusikvergnügen" etc. All these pieces have become real brass music hits and are an integral part of radio and television programmes.
Also on their current CD "Immer gut drauf" Roland Kohler & his Neue Böhmische Blasmusik inspire with 16 lively titles in the characteristic sound of the NBB. Right at the beginning, the title track "Immer gut drauf" sets the musical direction of the album: swinging brass music with a swinging rhythm that simply puts you in a good mood. Polkas like "lucky charms", "home stars" or "sing with us" provide the best atmosphere at every festival, while marches like "Alpenwelt" or "Start 2000" are a real treat for the ears of brass music lovers. And at the latest when Roland Kohler & his Neue Böhmische Blasmusik start a waltz (e.g. "Du bist das Glück", "Walzer der Liebe" or "Im grünen Wald"), there should be no more room on the dance floor. The polka medley "World hits from Bohemia" is the perfect finale to the current CD and once again impressively demonstrates the top musical level with which Roland Kohler & his New Bohemian Brass Band Music have come up with.
