Additional info/contents	The three dances are based on the traditional wassail songs of, respectively, Somerset, Yorkshire and Gloucestershire. These dances were first performed in 1973, and received their first broadcast performance on BBC Radio 3 in 1985 by the BBC Concert orchestra. "Wassail Dances" 1 - 3 are listed in the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association Manual as approved Festival repertoire, Grade VI.
